The rest of Day 5

Quebec! Yay! -the french. i was really excited.

The only time we have ever seen a minimum sign!

Got driving and made it to Montreal. At the beginning of rush hour. Not fun. new roads new place and alot of people = annoying. We made it through. and left Montreal about an hour and a half later.  I REALLY wanted to see the old part of the city but that meant going through even more congestion. Oh well. Maybe on the way back.

This is the beginning of the most frustrating and most rewarding part of the trip. Quebec City!! Of course i forgot to plan ahead and didnt know how to find Old Quebec. We were on a deadline to get to the ferry. So we didnt have much time to wander around. I knew where it should be but not how to get there. I was ready to give up but Steve told me to keep looking about 5 mins later we found so neat stuff and then a really steep twisty road with tons of shops and beautiful old building it was amazing. We took a couple of pictures but because it was night they didnt turn out too well.

This night we didnt stop. we needed to get to the ferry so we took turns driving and sleeping.
