Beautiful Sunrise

Probably my favorite picture of the journey.
Taken By Steve while the rest of us slept.
Beautiful Nova Scotia sunrise!

Still fast asleep even with the sun up!

My second fav. without the power lines.

Cute little lighthouse getting close to the ferry!!

You probably cant read the sign, it says North Sydney. Which is where we catch the ferry.

Can you see them in the distance!! Yay we were on time after driving straight through the night we made it!

Or so we thought. Get to the port and are told there is absolutley no way to get on the ferry, that we would have had to get there 4 hours earlier to even had a chance. LAME. We drove all night! Now we have to take the night ferry. The kids will be cranky, it doesnt leave till 10:30!! That was the biggest dissapointment of the whole week. But what can you do? Exactaly, what is there to do in North Sydney? Answer. Not much. So we hopped over to Mcdonalds for breakfast. Went to the "mall" we were done there pretty fast. Decided to hop over to the slightly larger Town or city of Sydney. Just south by 15mins.

And yes we were thinking about you when we got there Miss. Sydney. (My neice)

In Sydney they have a Giant Violin. I wasnt expecting to see anything like that.  So we took some time there and threw rocks into the water just behind where i am taking the picture. But only a couple of rocks because there was no fence just a little curb and i was way to nervous that they would fall in.

Just for you Sydney!

Then we checked out a really cool park. All wood and a millon different ways to climb up and slide down! Best park i have been to in years! We played Pirates. I locked Madison away in the dungeon. She looks kind of Modelish here.

Cutie Girl. She is talking to me trying to get me to follow her!

Her favorite place to play was the biggest slide. Typical Cammeron! No fear!

Daddy was there to catch her!
Poor Landon had fallen asleep in the Van and didnt wake up until after we had left.

It got much to cold at the park so we headed back to the "mall"  Where they had a couple different $1 rides so they each got to pick 2.
It was a long day. Trying to entertain kids in nowhere land for 8 hours. We went to a pizza place for dinner.

Off to the Ferry. Where we waited FOREVER to board. It had started raining and snowing it was cold. so we couldnt go outside. just waited in the car.
