Maria and The Move.

Typical St.Johns Street. Lots of color and very unique houses. I sure do love it. We took this picture on the way to the park.

Just Playing! And Landon being a great listener, which has been almost everyday now!! Sitting and posing for me! Madison was in a mood and didn't want her picture taken.
Just after I took this picture, we saw a woman in a baithing suit and heels posing for a photo shoot. Poor thing, it was not a warm day.
This is the cat that hangs around our back yard. ALL the time. I am confident it is a he. He is just a handsome cat.
Playing with Water Balloons with the Martins. Madison and Rylee had a blast tossing the balloon up in the air. They even kept it going for quite a while!

As most of you know we had a hurricane headed straight for us. We prepared, got water and such. Just in case. It was kind of exciting, as I have never experienced anything like it before.

It ended up being Rather uneventful. In the morning a bunch of rain and wind but nothing a good rain cloud couldnt pump out on its own. Seeing how it was pretty mild we thought we would go for a quick drive to see the water and clouds.

Just how strong that wind was.
The wind was VERY strong. As you can see.
The morning after! Sunny and WINDY. I am an awesome Mom, because I made oatmeal and crushed oreo cookies in it! Huge Hit.

___________

Steve had offered to stay home with Cammi while she slept so I could take Madison and Landon to the park. We had plenty of fun. On our way home were these bushes, FILLED with snails! If you look closely you can see at least 7. And this was only a small portion of the bushes. I have never seen so many snails in one place.
For the rest of the walk just because, we took some fun pictures!

I had done Madison's hair this way and Cammi wanted it also. Didnt last long but it happened.

The Move.
Yes. We had to move. Having to move from our place wasnt that annoying but the fact that we found out on Friday night that we had to be gone Sunday, WAS annoying. We have been here for 5 months. So it is like moving our normal house minus furniture. Ugh. It was a hard couple of days. Thankfully my friends Juliet and Victoria (from church) came and helped out. There is no way I could have done it without them.
It was nearing the end of Sunday and we had spent all but the time at church cleaning and packing.
Cammi just fell asleep on the couch.

Good bye kitchen that i love.
In a very full car leaving the house for the last time.

We drove off into the sunset to our apartment.

Its a 1 bedroom but I cant complain because it has a kitchen which is more that a hotel has. we have the kids in the bedroom and we are sleeping on the pull out couch for as long as we can handle it! Which wont be much longer.
We made a cheese roll (which is YUMMY!) and some buns.
Then took a bath in the huge tub! The kids love it. I really want a big tub like this at home. Madison showered in the awesome shower. Which i could also do with having! One day....
And we were worried we would have to move again on the 30th. Fortunately Steve saved the day and we can stay here until we go home! We found that out today (as in the day I am posting this)

Kites and a Brynlee.

The Crazy Purple sky. I just had to go out and take a picture of it. The whole sky was this color.
Lets go fly a kite!
It was a super windy day (winds due to a hurricane)And it was a strange wind. It would make the kite go all over the place! So much fun. Madison is a Natural.

I put her in charge of photography... should have learned from the last time. I have about 20 of this same picture with slight variations.

Amber, Steve and Issac came to fly kites. I think everyone had plenty of fun. Brought out the child in everyone. Took Amber a minute to get the hang of it, but once she had she was flying. ;)

Steve thought he was the best..... I will not comment on the truthfulness of that ;)
Notice the stormy backdrop, yet it never rained. Just tiny sprinklings.
Poses
Amber was entertaining the children...I am not quite sure what they were doing but it looked interesting.

Hugs

While at the office helping me(yeah right, more like fighting and annoying eachother) I am the post season Office assistant, Landon got his fingers caught in the hinge side of a door. Ouch!!

The summer has been winding down and so have we. Not so many adventures lately. I am feeling the strain of a long, hard time away from home. It will be nice to come home and be surrounded by Family and Friends once again.  We do spend more time close to the house. A particularly warm day out basking in the sun. "Let's go bask in the sun Cammeron" are words often heard.

Everyday learning something new. This day was putting on her own clothes. Even though I had already gotten her dressed. Yes, that is a shirt she is putting on over top of shorts, that she put on over top of her jeans! And a hat just for good measure.
Our Friend Karen had her baby, Brynlee. Cammi was thrilled. Kept kissing her and held her a few times. What an adorable baby!!
